An experimental screening program for the early detection of colorectal cancer has been introduced in medical institutions of the Republic of Armenia. The goal of this program is the early detection of malignant neoplasms of the bowel (colon, rectum, sigmoid colon, and anus), known as colorectal cancer.
Under this program, individuals with mental health conditions are provided free psychiatric care and services by the state, both in inpatient (hospital) and outpatient (ambulatory) settings.
The government guarantees free hospital medical care and services, referred to as the "state order," for obstetric and gynecological care provided in medical organizations throughout the Republic of Armenia.
This hospital medical care is delivered only when treatment or diagnosis is impossible to perform in an outpatient setting, when the patient's full recovery can only be secured while they are in the hospital, or when the patient has a disease that poses a danger to others.
