About the Program
The Hemodialysis (blood purification) support program covers the full scope of necessary measures for treatment: professional consultations, the conduction of laboratory and instrumental diagnostic investigations, provision of supplies necessary for carrying out scheduled hemodialysis sessions, including the initial placement of a short-term central venous double-lumen catheter, and provision of medications.
Requirements
To receive the service, the individual must be an RA citizen and must not have the following contraindications for hemodialysis:
- Malignant Neoplasms (Cancer) Stage 4: When anti-tumor treatment is no longer indicated for the patient, and only palliative medical care and service are indicated.
- Liver Cirrhosis: Terminal stage (F3-4).
- Active Pulmonary Tuberculosis (BK+).
- Two or more relative contraindications.
- Age over 80 years with the presence of at least one relative contraindication.
Relative Contraindications for Hemodialysis
The relative contraindications for performing hemodialysis are:
- Stroke or severe nervous system disorders: When the patient is in a severely hemodynamically unstable condition, has severe or complete loss of consciousness, or is in a bedridden, paralyzed state.
- Mental disorders: When, according to a psychiatrist's conclusion, the individual poses a danger to themselves or others.
- Blood clotting disorders that are not conditioned by uremia.
- The patient is in a severely hemodynamically unstable state due to heart failure (NYHA Functional Class IV), ventricular tachycardia, acute myocardial infarction, alcoholism or drug addiction.
Required Documents
To receive hemodialysis medical care, the following must be presented:
- Identification document,
- a conclusion provided by the physician who performs hemodialysis.
Delivery period and Procedure
Patients are included in the group receiving scheduled hemodialysis by the order of the director of the respective hospital, based on the conclusion of the physician performing hemodialysis, and taking into account the indications and contraindications for organizing scheduled hemodialysis.
The timeframes for providing the service are determined by the medical institutions mentioned above.
