Receive Support for Special and Hard-to-access Diagnostic Investigations
This program provides the population with the opportunity to conduct special and hard-to-access diagnostic investigations within the framework of the free and subsidized medical care and services guaranteed by the state.
Medical investigations are considered special and hard-to-access if they are not regionally accessible within Armenia and are not included in the package of free laboratory and instrumental diagnostic tests performed in polyclinics for the entire population of the Republic of Armenia.
To receive support for special and hard-to-access diagnostic investigations, it is necessary to apply to the local polyclinic.
Requirements
The following individuals can apply for this program:
- people included in the list of socially vulnerable and special groups of the population entitled to receive free and subsidized medical care and services guaranteed by the state (exceptions apply to conscription-age citizens, those over 27 who have not completed military service, citizens registered in the reserve, and those currently in military service),
- all patients not included in the list who have diagnoses of malignant neoplasms (cancer) and tuberculosis,
- individuals not included in the list who have a referral provided by the standing referral commissions in organizations that provide polyclinic medical care.
Required Documents
To receive support for special and hard-to-access diagnostic investigations, the following must be presented:
- Identification document,
- referral (prescription) available in paper format or in the electronic healthcare system,
- a document and its copy confirming inclusion in the list of socially vulnerable and special groups.
- a certificate confirming the diagnosis of "Malignant Neoplasm," issued by an organization licensed to provide oncological medical care and services.
- a certificate confirming the diagnosis of "Tuberculosis," issued by an organization licensed to provide tuberculosis medical care and services.
- a certificate or extract from the pregnant woman's monitoring card, issued by the medical organization conducting the prenatal monitoring.
Delivery period and Procedure
The timeframe and procedure for providing the support are determined by the local polyclinics or medical institutions.
