Receive Stroke Treatment Under the Support Program
Within the framework of the support program, and taking into account the patient's neurological status and the duration of clinical signs of cerebral ischemic stroke, intravenous thrombolytic treatment or thrombectomy (mechanical removal of the clot) is performed. The services are provided in cases of acute and subacute cerebral ischemic stroke.
To receive treatment for cerebral strokes, it is necessary to call an ambulance or independently transport the patient to one of the following 6 medical institutions:
In Yerevan:

Requirements
The basis for receiving this service is the presence of an acute or subacute cerebral ischemic stroke diagnosis in the patient, provided it is within 0–24 hours from the onset of stroke symptoms, including the transportation time.
Required Documents
To use the service, it is necessary to present the patient's passport or identification card (if absent, it must be presented within 72 hours).
Scope of Support
Treatment in Yerevan and the regions of the Republic of Armenia may be provided free of charge or with various co-payment prices.
Delivery period and Procedure
The service is provided immediately (without delay).
