Business Registration

Why is state registration of a business important?

If you are starting a business or already have one, register it. This allows you to:

  • Access government support programs.

  • Sign legally binding contracts with local and international partners.

  • Ensure protection for your rights and those of other investors.

Registering your business may take some time, but it’s a vital step that makes everything easier later on. By choosing your business type, naming partners, and defining their rights, you can access government support and operate legally without any complications.

This section was prepared in accordance with the RA laws "On Limited Liability Companies," "On Individual Entrepreneurs," "On State Registration of Legal Entities," and "On Electronic Documents and Electronic Digital Signatures."

Beneficial Ownership Declaration

Submit a Beneficial Ownership Declaration

In Armenia, businesses are required by the law to explain if they have any other ownership chains. To do this, you must submit a declaration of beneficial ownership within 40 days of registering your business. If you are a sole proprietor, you do not need to submit this declaration.
