The application must be submitted to the Ministry of Economy. It must be submitted no later than the last working day of the month following the reporting month.

Example: To receive support for July 2025, you must apply by August 29, 2025.

Requirements

To get the support, you must:

• be a VAT-paying company or individual entrepreneur providing slaughterhouse services,
• purchase large cattle from farms and individuals, carry out slaughterhouse slaughter and meat sale,
• have no outstanding tax liabilities as of the working day preceding the application date,
• have submitted the unified VAT and excise tax report for the previous 12 months (or, if considered a VAT payer for less than 12 months, for all months in which VAT status is applied).

Required documents

Applicants must send the following documents to secretariat@mineconomy.am:

• application,
• statement on the purchase of large cattle (when applying for the first time, you must submit information for the previous 3 months; for all subsequent applications, submit information for the month preceding the application),
• statement on tax invoices for the sale of meat obtained from the slaughter of large cattle during the month preceding the application,
• copies of veterinary certificates issued for the transportation and slaughter of large cattle,
• names and surnames of the founders of the economic entity or shareholders holding more than 10% of shares, as well as their family members.

Support amount

The support is provided in the amount of 75% of the VAT, calculated as the difference between the VAT charged on the sale of meat obtained from slaughter and the deductible VAT from the purchase of animals.

Attention
From June 1, 2025 to December 30, 2025, part of the slaughter service fee will also be reimbursed, up to 10,000 AMD, and in case of slaughtering an animal with brucellosis on sanitary days, up to 15,000 AMD.

Delivery period and procedure

The documents and data are reviewed within 20 working days after submitting the application.

If the application is approved, an agreement is signed between the individual or legal entity and the Ministry of Economy, and the support amount is transferred to the applicant within 5 working days.
